Set-Up Poster

Challenge
The Steep-T Positioning System lacked a step-by-step poster demonstrating the correct usage of the system making it difficult for hospital staff to properly use it.

Goal
Create a poster for hospital staff that clearly and simply explains how to use the system.

Solution
Including a step-by-step poster with images has made it easier for hospital staff to use the system with greater clarity and less confusion.

The Visual Storytelling

The team visited Lincoln Memorial University for a photo shoot documenting the process of how to properly set up the STEEP-T Positioning System. I later enhanced and refined the images using Photoshop as you will see in the final product.

Design & Layout

After reviewing the images with the product manager overseeing the project, we selected the final photos. I then edited them in Photoshop before using Adobe InDesign to layout the poster. The images were arranged in a grid format to maintain visual harmony, with a generous amount of space for text in a clean font.

Obstacles & Solutions

One of the primary challenges I faced was finding the right balance between the images and text. I also needed to ensure the reader could easily associate the steps with the correct image listed above, rather than the one below. To achieve this, I created enough spacing between the steps while maintaining legibility for the reader.
